Lord of the Rings Illustrations

Overview

The world and story of Lord of the Rings has been a constant inspiration to me since childhood. It has been a passion project for me in the last few years to create illustrative artwork related to the series — which usually end upon the walls of my house.

Imladris

Process: Carbon transfer of photograph of the set design for the film adaptation of LOTR, then filled in detail Prismacolor Verithins and added color vibrance and blending using Primsacolor Premiers.

Shards of Narsil

Process: Carbon transfer of image of Narsil from the LOTR film, then use of Black Verithin to fill in detail and add depth.

Bag End

Process: Carbon transfer of photograph of the set design for the film adaptation of LOTR, then filled in detail Prismacolor Verithins and added color vibrance and blending using Primsacolor Premiers.

Leaf of Lorien

Process: Carbon transfer of leaf design from the LOTR film, then use of Verithins to fill in detail and add depth.

Middle Earth

Process: Carbon transfer of existing map design image created for the film adaptation of LOTR, then use of Black Verithin to fill in detail and add depth.
