Waunakee Athletic Soccer Club Logo Concept

A recreational soccer club in the city of Waunakee, Wisconsin had a logo re-design contest. I took this opportunity (as I almost always do) to do some logo design work. Designing a logo and branding for a sports team has long been a dream of mine so I saw this as a good exercise to see what I could come up with.

I did a lot of sketching (see below) to figure out the right badge design, as well as some custom type for the logo text. I took inspiration from a lot of soccer/football club logo designs I liked.

While my design was ultimately not chosen, I still thoroughly enjoyed the creation process and hope to do something similar again in the future!
